A. Take 15 minutes to build to a heavy single:
Front Squat + Jerk

B. Push Press; 2-2-2; Rest 2 minutes between sets; all sets tough

C. Complete 15, 12, 9, 6, and 3 rep rounds for time of:
Power Snatch (115/75 lb)
Kipping HSPUs
Toes to Bar

Rest as needed, then…

D. Accumulate 3 minutes of Hollow Hold

    Missed 225 twice. Rough day with the jerk.

    Scaled HSPU to 1 Abmat. Will be wearing a neck brace next time you see me.

    Rough day for me. Got thrashed during the HSPU. Good to get some much needed overhead work though. Onward and upward.

    C. 12:59 rx. Feeling happy though that I got better at HSPU today. So I’ll take it.

  3. A. 285 – made a foolish jump after this because I felt decent. Tried 315 and failed. Then tried 305 and just missed. Should’ve gone there first, but I rushed.
    B. 205/215/225
    C. 12:47. First set of HSPU took me a while. I was fidgeting around with my plate placement. I may just start using a yoga mat isr ad of the ab mat and plates. Felt like I moved through them ok after I got squared away. Snatches felt good, toes to bar felt solid. Also not that it means anything but my bar got put in the abyss pretty much on the platforms. Not that it means anything… But just saying…. For the record… Haha all kidding aside, GREAT training environment tonight. Had a ton of fun!!

      1. I split. I’ve been flirting with 315 for a little while now. Should’ve been more patient in my approach yesterday. “Blame it on my youth” πŸ˜‰

    Pretty good day, pretty sick today but it always feels better to just keep moving looking forward to a rest day tomorrow.

  6. A) 220. Felt pretty good but my back was bothering me a little so I didn’t want to push it.
    B) 155, 175, 185.
    C) 12:38 RX. I almost did the snatches at 95 but figured since I’m not too bad at HSPUs and T2B I would try out 115.
    D) done.

  7. A. 220 PR – missed 225, but it feels close. I’ve been stuck at 215 since october, so I’m excited about this.
    B. 135, 155, 175, 185 – did one extra, guess 135 was a warmup. This is the first time doing them at 185 and they felt strong.
    C. 10:55 – did snatches in sets of 3, HSPU started out strong, but I lost my balance a lot toward the end and came off the wall after singles, which took extra time. T2B unbroken. Think I could have taken less rest during the snatches or not try to keep doing tng sets. I can’t tell if doing singles takes less time than a few tng with longer rest between.

  9. A) 285 – 290f (missed the push jerk)
    B) 185-215-245 (felt good, think I had some more here. Previous 1rm PR was 235. Pumped to hit 245 for 2)
    C) 10:01Rx (snatches were 11-4, 8-4, UB. HSPU were primarily 4s, 3s & 2s. TTB were 8-7, 6-6, UB.
    D) done. this sucked haha

  10. A. 240 felt light, should had gone for more.
    B. 135,155,175,185 Nic, Devin and I did an extra set.
    C. 11:11 snatches were okay, should had moved a bit faster on them. Hspu would had been fine if they were strict. the kip totally kicks my ass. Can’t seem to connect them with out getting stuck in the hole or falling off the wall. T2b were all over unbroken.

    B: 115, 120, 115
    C: 17:54 – pretty pumped about this. Did the hspus with the gymnastic mat instead of the ab mat and plates and they went soooo much better. the t2b actually felt good today and so did the snatches. The hspus definitely held me up but at least i could do them today.

  12. A. 155, 165 front squat but couldn’t jerk it. Pretty happy about this since it’s my first heavy front squat since surgery

  13. A. 165. Failed at 175 a couple times. Arms did not feel good today.
    B. 135 all sets.
    C. 17:27. HSPU felt way harder than they should have, again arms don’t feel up to par today.
    D. Done.

  14. A) Stuck with jerks (no splits)- 225, 230 (missed). Happy to hit 225. Did press out on it.
    B) 185, 195 (2nd one was hideous. Moved my right foot to balance the weight overhead), 200 (clean). Pleased to break 200. 1st time with a PP. Happier that it was for 2
    C) 9:37
    Snatches: 11-4; 8-4; 6-3; UB; UB
    HSPU: came off the wall a total of 3x. Did spend time resting on my head. No sets were technically UB (without a pause at some point in the rep scheme)
    T2B: 10-5; UB from that point forward.
    Very pleased with today…until D…
    D) finished in 6:35. Turns out I have no core.
